The interesting and challenging work keeps me engaged each day. The breadth and depth of regulatory content Harbor Compliance records and catalogs is incredible. As a Research Analyst, gathering and organizing that information in an easy-to-understand way is my goal every day. The fact that our clients use that content to achieve better outcomes for their businesses is really gratifying.

Having previously worked at companies where employees number in the thousands, it was exciting to join a smaller company focused on innovation in established industries. Harbor Compliance hasn’t disappointed! It’s a fast-paced, learning environment where team members build and share knowledge. Everyday we help clients successfully navigate regulatory requirements. It’s so rewarding to see a client’s relief when they realize “Harbor Compliance has us covered."

Our work is truly mission-critical for the clients we serve. The filings we prepare are what allow them to legally operate in their respective industries across geographies. It may sound like a lot of pressure, but the tools and support network are incredible. My manager is respectful, understanding, flexible, and amazing to work with! We know regulatory requirements are constantly changing and Harbor Compliance is so amazing at changing with it in order to help our client base.

We interact with businesses across so many different industries. The speed of learning here is amazing. You’re working daily with the senior management teams of all kinds of companies. You get to know them, understand their priorities, their hopes, their concerns. You really see how they view the world. Honestly, it’s like getting paid to get your MBA. It’s both exciting and invaluable professional experience.

As a computer science student, I’ve always wanted to be a part of an organization that allows me to build software to help make people’s lives easier while using some of the newest technology as it is being developed. After graduation, I was able to find that here at Harbor Compliance. The freedom and autonomy here allow me to contribute the best software solutions to our clients and employees. Building with my coworkers allows me to feel my influence regarding decision-making and where we will move next with our software.

I am thoroughly enjoying being a key part of Harbor Compliance’s product journey in my position as Product Owner. Being able to conceptualize solution designs for business problems and work with development teams to see the solutions come to life has always been the most delightful aspect of being an analyst for me. The organization’s culture fosters creative problem solving and gives the freedom for their team members to tap into their creative-thinking skills.
