Notes:	Different classifications are issued depending on permit value: Class 1 licenses apply to any general building contractor obtaining a permit from $0 to $25,000 (remodeling only) Class 2 licenses apply to any contractor obtaining a building permit from $0 to $150,000 Class 3 licenses apply to any contractor obtaining a building permit greater than $150,000 and less than $500,000 Class 4 licenses apply to any contractor obtaining a building permit greater than $500,000 and less than $1,000,000 Class 5 licenses apply to any contractor obtaining a building or construction permit in excess of $1,000,000.
