City of Sulphur Contractor License

Insurance Requirements:

Certificate of General Liability Insurance with a minimum coverage amount of $100,000 with the City of Sulphur as a certificate holder

Bond Requirements:

$15,000 surety bond made favorable to the City of Sulphur stating the trade classification in which you are operating

City of Sulphur Non-Resident Contractors License

Insurance Requirements:

General Liability Insurance in a minimum amount of $100,000. If the insurance company is out of state it must say the policy is good in the state of Louisiana. The sole certificate holder must be the City of Sulphur, P.O. Box 1309, Sulphur, LA 70664. For contractors doing work in the City of Sulphur, the minimum General Liability Insurance is $300,000.

Bond Requirements:

Renewal invoices are mailed before the license expires.

Due:

License expires on January 31. Renewals are due by March 1 to avoid interest and penalties.
