Form:	Business, Professional and Occupational License (BPOL) Application
Agency Fee:	Fee is based on gross receipts estimate for first year.
Required Attachments:	Businesses classified as “Architects” and “Professional Engineers” must submit one of the following items when applying for or renewing their Business, Professional and Occupational License (BPOL) with Fairfax County: a copy of their state professional license, or a written statement, supported by an affidavit, that they are not subject to licensure as an architect or professional engineer Affidavit for Exemption from State Licensing Requirement—for Contractors, Architects, and Engineers (if applicable)

Agency Fee:	Fee is based on reported gross receipts.
Due:	Licenses expire on December 31 of each year and renewals must be filed by March 1st.
Notes:	A renewal application will be mailed in January.
