  • Proof of Self-Insurance
  • Affidavit of Exemption by applicant

Business License and Commercial Occupancy Permit

Filing Method:

  • License payments can be made online
Agency Fee:
  • Fees vary based on the total square footage of the business
    • The minimum license fee is $25
  • New business license fees are prorated based on the estimated move-in date
  • Business relocation fees are calculated based on the difference in square footage of the business
    • The minimum license fee is $12.50
Required Attachments:
  • Copy of License Holder's Photo ID
  • Copy of most recent annual sprinkler, fire alarm, and elevator inspections for address being applied for, if applicable
  • Completed Land Use Information Page, if applicable
  • No Tax Due Statement, if subject to Missouri State Sales Tax
  • Certificate of Worker's Compensation Coverage, Certificate of Self-Insurance, or Affidavit of exempt status by applicable (contractors only)
  • Vending Machine Providers Name and Contact Information, if applicable

Registration Renewal

Filing Method:

Mail, email, or online.

Agency Fee:
  • Fees vary based on the total square footage of the business
    • The minimum license fee is $25
Due:

Annually by June 30.

Notes:

Renewal forms are mailed to license holders during the Month of May

Required Attachments:
  • No Tax Due Statement, if subject to Missouri State Sales Tax
  • Certificate of Worker's Compensation Coverage, Certificate of Self-Insurance, or Affidavit of exempt status by applicable (contractors only)
