Notes:

Applicants must have a physical business address within the county to apply for a Fictitious Business Name Statement.
Applicants with no place of business in the state must file their application with the Clerk of Sacramento County.
Non-profit corporations, organizations or associations are not required to file a Fictitious Business Name Statement.

$46 for the first business name + $5 for each additional business name or registrant

Notes:

Applicants must submit the original form and three copies.
Within 30 days from the date of filing a FBN Statement, applicants must start publishing in a newspaper of general circulation in the county in which the FBN Statement was filed. The publication should run once a week for 4 consecutive weeks. An affidavit of publication must be filed with the county clerk within 30 days after the completion of the publication.
