Town of Schererville Contractor Registration

Foreign Qualification is Prerequisite:	No
Insurance Requirements:	General Liability: $1,000,000 Per Occurrence: $500,000 Worker's Compensation: $100,000 for each accident + $100,000 disease-per employee + $500,000 disease policy limit The Town of Schererville must be the certificate holder If working on Town-owned property, the Town of Schererville must be listed as additional insured If no employees, the Town of Schererville requires a clearance certificate from the worker's compensation board of Indiana
Bond Requirements:	$5000 and the obligee should read Board of Commissioners of Lake County, IN and all cities, towns and municipalities in Lake County, IN. The bond must be recorded at the Lake County Recorders' Office located at 2293 N. Main Street Crown Point, IN 46307
Notes:	Electricians must pass the Town of Schererville electrical exam. There is no fee for the test.

Registration Renewal

More Details

Form:	As long as there are no changes to the existing license, there is no application to renew a contractor registration. If changes need to be made use the Contractor Registration Application Registration will be renewed with the payment of the renewal fee and providing updated copies of the required documents.

Due:	Annually by December 31.
