Newfoundland and Labrador Land Surveying Certificate of Authorization

Agency:	Association of Newfoundland Land Surveyors (ANLS)
Eligible Entity Types:	Corporations Partnerships
Foreign Qualification is Prerequisite:	No
Ownership Requirements:	Corporations A majority of each class of shares is owned by and registered in the name of one or more members of the Association Partnerships The majority of the partner equity and ownership interest is owned by and controlled by one or more members of the Association
Insurance Requirements:	Professional Liability Insurance in an amount not less than $500,000 per claim
Registered Agent (Special Agency) Required?	No
Qualifying Individual Requirements:	The practice of land surveying is the responsibility of, and is carried out under the supervision of a director of the body corporate who is licensed to practice Land Surveying in Newfoundland and Labrador. The director must hold a current and valid Certificate of Registration.

Agency Fee:	$1038.54 USD Certificate of Authorization fee per each member of the company ($1500 CAD)
Notes:	Additional requirements are implemented on a case-by-case basis by the Board to ensure form compliance and control.
