Saskatchewan Certificate of Authorization

Notes:

No partnership, association of persons, or corporation shall use the word or phrase “engineer”, “engineering”, “P.Eng.” “consulting engineer”, “P.Geo.”, “consulting geoscientist” or “geoscience” without written authorization of APEGS to imply that the partnership, association of persons or corporation, or any of its members are professional engineers or professional geoscientists.

Qualifying Individual Requirements:
  • All current employees of the firm who will be in charge of services on behalf of the firm must be a member/licensee of APEGS or have an application currently pending approval. 
  • There must be at least one official representative who is registered with APEGS and whose duty it is to ensure that the Act and Bylaws are complied with. An Official Representative must be an active and licensed member (Professional Engineer, Professional Geoscientist, Engineering Licensee, Geoscience Licensee, or Temporary Licensee).

  • $281.95 USD annual fee for firms with 5 or less professional members + $14.10 USD GST

  • $563.91 USD annual fee for firms with 6 or more professional members + $28.20 USD GST 
    • ($800 CAD + $40 CAD GST)
  • Annual fees will be prorated and invoiced after the application is received
