Kentucky Out of State CPA Firm License
Not required
Certified Public Accounting Firm licensure is not required on the State level in Kentucky.
A firm that does not operate an office in Kentucky and holds a license in good standing in the state where their main office is located and complies with peer review requirements of Kentucky is not required to obtain a license to provide public accounting services to a Kentucky based client. A firm is still subject to oversight and disciplinary process of the Kentucky State Board of Accountancy for any service performed to a Kentucky based client.
